PTOLEM (CH) - The Almagest -
Composer, guitars, machines, synths.
The new frontier for retrofuturist cinematic electronica with orchestral soundscapes and guitars.
Available on CD baby, Itunes store and many more.
Very favourably received by the Italian and Swiss presses (Rockerilla, Murmures).
|
|
FRAGMENT (CH) - Unknown -
composer, guitars and bass guitars.
Fragment performs dark grooves and an unconventional tortured metal.
The last album was produced by Meshuggah's guitarist Fredrik Thordendal and displayed the expected Fragment characteristics, however the songs began to get longer and more expressive, focusing on efficiency and aggressivity, while retaining the accurate sense of worrying sonorities that have graced the band's past material.
|
|
FRAGMENT (CH) - Flux -
composer, guitars and backing vocals.
Fragment entered the‘Dug-Out Productions Studios’ in Uppsala Sweden, with acclaimed engineer/producer Daniel Bergstrand who has come to be known for working with bands like Strapping Young Lad, Meshuggah, Stuck Mojo, Misery Loves Co. and more.
Album found distribution in Spain, France, Benelux, Austria, Switzerland and the U.S. on Relapse Catalog, countries in which the band contributed to several compilations.
1999 - Opening act for the American band ProPain throughout France, Switzerland and Austria.
1999 - Opening act for the American band Soulfly in Switzerland.
April-May 2000 - Opening act for the Swedish band Meshuggah throughout France and Switzerland.
The famous tour show in Geneva, with Pantera, Powerman 5000, Satyricon and Meshuggah, was definitely one of the high-lights of the band so far.
|
|
FRAGMENT (CH) -Tronc -
composer, guitars and backing vocals.
Album found distribution in France, Germany and Switzerland.
Very favourably received by the French and German presses (Rage, Rocksound, Metalhammer Germany).

SKULLSCRUHER P. (CH)
Composer, guitars, machines, strings.
This hybrid art of the Skullscrusher project marries warm cinematic tones with crushing sounds over ever haunting drones. slowly the music starts to groove and devolve into a visceral desire to detonate. The melodies have barely the time to take shape, they are rapidly disintegrated, achieving a dynamic equilibrium. From hip hop rhytms to hard techno, harnessing dub and surgical metal, the initiator of the Skullscrusher project always tries to tread new sonic fields. Obviously it takes you to the inexplicable and darker side with such intensity and originality, that if Dario Argento and David Lynch were working together on a movie, we could easily see the Skullscrusher project doing the soundtrack.
